Impatient

Impatient

A Poem by Christine Gao
"

to snoopy

"

Impatient, impatient, impatient.

If you’re here, I want you now.

And I’m so scared you’ll grow tired of me,

I’m afraid another would walk past,

And your eyes follow.

If I take too long,

would you leave?

Maybe I’m not impatient,

But insecure

That you’ll find someone better,

And leave me behind.
