Thoughts of the End

Thoughts of the End

A Poem by Leanne

 Time shrinks and falls away

Death comes to all

Whether or not you go astray

The line always ends

Forever you will not live

A picture always fades in the sun

To all, death will come

The soul abandons the body

When its job is done

Perhaps to go somewhere beyond

Tomorrow may not be a day

Dying leaves rot where they lay

At the end of every day

The sun shrinks away

Author's Note

Leanne
Just a bunch of random thoughts with no order. I was actually trying to write something for this writing thing we had to do in literature class, but I didn't really get anywhere. It does sort of rhyme though, so I guess that's okay.

About
My name is Leanne. I don't write as much as I once did: perhaps it means that my mental health is a lot better than it was when I did write a lot or that I just have people who I can go to if I need t.. more..
