Down the Rabbits Hole

We're all going down the rabbit's hole -- 

Falling an eternal fall.

Down to the depths where Satan dines,

Where we'll rot in his sublime.

The poison is unmarked down there! -- 

Remember that as you're falling, falling, falling.

Drowning in the copious tears

Of those who thought the could save themselves,

Because you can't climb out!

Fate is strong and has damned us all -- 

To continue falling down Satan's black hole.

Until we arrive there burning -- forever burning.

Our souls dealt out like a deck of cards,

For we have no worth down there -- 

In a place where evil reigns everywhere.

Keep in mind, some jump on their own

For some lost their souls long, long ago.

Marmalade and cakes aren't served anymore,

Remember, as stepping through those cursed doors -- 

An empty body with no soul.

 

Author's Note

When I was writing the first version of this poem, I was in an extremely crappy and pessimistic mood. I edited it a few days later because going back to read it, I decided that I could make something out of it sort of.

I think that some of the things came from Alice in Wonderland when I was writing it.

I have a saying , if the Devil comes in a sits at your table , what ever you do , don't serve him Tea...which to me means you may have him walk in but don't make him feel welcome..I love Alice in Wonderland...maybe it is not about saving yourself ..maybe it is just being here now and enjoying the ride while you are on it..just my thoughts ..

At the top of this is says 'Remember' and i don't think you ever carried on with your remember. Remember what? Maybe the last line of that "Because you can't climb out!" you could change Because to that and that would fix it.

THis was interesting but i would keep working on it. Good luck! =D
