The Other Side

The Other Side

A Poem by Leanne

The sun shines brighter on the other side
Where the grass is greener and the flowers don't die.
The trees hold strong and touch the sky.
The water flows quickly, and it isn't stopped
'Cept where the lake gathers every drop.
The fish swim freely; birds fly high
Animals curry when there's no reason to hide.
And the grass is greener on the other side
Where the sun shines brighter and the stars don't die.

About
My name is Leanne. I don't write as much as I once did: perhaps it means that my mental health is a lot better than it was when I did write a lot or that I just have people who I can go to if I need t.. more..
