Unheard

Unheard

A Poem by Leanne

My voice is in its grave
My listeners were always lost
Words floating in the wind
Raindrops rushed into sewers
No one sees its letters anymore

Silence is suffocation
Breath slows as words try
Three, two, one, zero
Goodbye-- they can't hear you
No one is listening anymore

wow, you're really good at writing poems like this.
When i read 'suffocation' i felt like i couldn't breathe. No clue why I'm just pointing out that you know how to make the reader feel what you want them to!
It's very depressing, which i'm sure that's what you wanted, but i like the feeling.
Keep working at it and this could be a very nice poem! have a good day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

About
My name is Leanne. I don't write as much as I once did: perhaps it means that my mental health is a lot better than it was when I did write a lot or that I just have people who I can go to if I need t.. more..
