The Absence of Sound

The Absence of Sound

A Poem by Jessie.

Smug in the thickness of silence

rushing past my awakened senses,
the force is undetected
until the lapse of seconds pass

and the range of time closes in.
Oblivion surrounds and fills the vacancies.
Darkness becomes purified once again.
The altered volumes affect perception,
heightens your awareness
to an overwhelming capacity.
Panic tinkers behind your mind,
pushed back by reverberating thoughts.
The absence of sound taunts increasingly
awaiting you to make a move,
tempting to the climax.
The release of oppression is expelled in the momentum.
A deserving award for a tedious process.

You certainly have a knack for Stilted phrasing and I personally feel that your Cleverness with Words would be served better if you just reformed your Words to Say Exactly what You Mean..You have enough ability. My rating is only Generous because of that Ability.
