untitledA Poem by maria a frey
I look into to the sky and wonder when I will return home.
Stuck here in a world that is not my own. Torn, broken, surrounded by people yet still so alone. Alone in existence. Absent in forgiveness. Plagued by chaos and false beginnings. Plagued by a past lost without repentance. Lost lives full of vengeance. Looking in my mirror wondering, "who is this?" This strange figment but no imagination. Standing before me filling with deep rage and unwanted hatred. Hatred for this damned nation. Hatred motivated by hate. Hatred desperately trying to destroy my faith. Yet in these dark hours, I think it's already too late. © 2015 maria a freyFeatured Review
