“Dancing Toward the Edge”

“Dancing Toward the Edge”

A Poem by stephen dillon
"

a poem about losing love

"

“Dancing Toward the Edge”

“Floating upward and out of this most living corpse are the decaying dreams of daughters dancing escaping with thoughts of sons becoming respectful men while the face of trust wears an unflinching  smirk that hugs the line between awkward and emotionally frigid frozen and depleted of life as the miles across tundra’s grow quickly without any warmth for the one exiled forth into thought numbing night starving hope and choking for lack of it all”

“Chemical starvation is never anyone’s fault don’t get me wrong except this……….. I am junk life nothing but the kid with the chemicals with a barbaric love to indulge……………………………………………………………………….

My mind is finally free and it feels strange!”
