“I Can’t Believe I Let You Leave”

“I Can’t Believe I Let You Leave”

A Poem by stephen dillon

“I Can’t Believe I Let You Leave”

“Adhesives and skin glue hold my pieces together just taut enough for the tides of my teardrops to wash the separate parts ashore upon a land inhabited by naïve natives who cannot tell hot from cold which leads to cases of emotional exposure and melting energy and enthusiasm sunburn the moral mirror’s conclusive departure is not an ongoing thought process of maybes and what if’s, forks are still only one road and this lonely pebble sea shall be swam alone.”” Electric kids inside coffins wrapped inside electrical tape , decomposing like the prosy I am showing you NOW LIVE AS TWISTED AS POSSIBLE.”
