"The Blister Effect"

"The Blister Effect"

A Poem by stephen dillon
"

just my take on humanities blight in a more horrorcentric way

"
Simple and direct the scent is in the air, there's a coward getting weaker but i cannot tell where, lurking in the shadows sulking in shame, you see him everyday but you cannot place his name, tearing at your sanity like it's dinner for the day,he'll then tell you something great but never get around to say,the howls at night cause my skin to scab all over all day so i can't get out to see the blister effect, where everyone's outside cutting their neck bleeding it out and letting it go,trying hard they want it all gone, the blisters left scars on his face, so that he no longer screams as loud.

Hello, this is my first read of your work so I won't be to hard. I grather its a metafore for something, Tho I'm not all together sure what. And yes it is a run on. I'm a song writer mostly, not by choice as much for reason. I use to write long winded pices and even tho they had good idea and said many things , I found a great love for more simple forms of writing, Like songs. I like the beat of a pice and how the rules write the words for you as you plow though. Good job, Joe
