look at you

look at you

A Poem by stephen dillon

you really want to grow but silence is all thats in the near future for a failure holding no place in the world except to be an undercover underachevier a sliver on the cross in which you pin you  your soul and all the family that stood for you in the times of crisis your actions are atrocious not a profound mirical could cleanse your wrong doings

so in the mean time we civilized beings will dwell on this while we do our work and yours.

A very powerful poem. We can be underacheviers but we cannot allow the world to slow us down. Better to run wild and free than to become civilized people. Civilized people are create war and destroying nature. I enjoyed this poem. You made me think this early morning. Thank you for the outstanding poetry.

I often wonder if many of those underachievers are really underachieving or choosing to live apart from societal expectations. Sometimes we run in place so that we can figure out where we are going. Hopefully we learn from our atrocious actions. On the other hand there are many things that keep some from achieving. The one that comes to mind is video games! I like this poem, you say so much with and between your words.
