“Writing Deep Enough to Bleed”

A Poem by stephen dillon
"

serious., not really.... ha

"

Digging into my mind for words and rhymes that will pass the time/before I lose my consolidated calm and reveal to you that words cut even deeper than the blade yet I still continue to type and sometimes cut myself just to numb yet I never succeed always wired weird and wily could someone find this piece of s**t and I’ll be the insect hovering over so fly swat me/ succeed and I will be forever in your debt

Thinking up rhymes does suck if you work at it. Just let it come to you. And if you were a fly, I wouldn't swat you.
