"winter time in the minds eye"A Poem by stephen dillonabout the way ideas that may be the big one just float away and never gome back like the cold breeze of winter timePassion pitches a fastball right across homeplate so fast like a striking match, and you can't even swing at it. But just like a shooting star in the night it flies right by as I make a wish, that for just once fame and fortune matter nothing to me. All i should care for is my evaporating energy of butkiss. Nowhere is home everyone is focused on feverishly prioritized points of intrest. Phantom photos grouped together like ideas pieling up,dead leaves in my mind, line by line I record my impotence, my failures, and the always escaping images never to be,in the ever changing winter frozen mind. © 2013 stephen dillonAuthor's Note
