This Battered Love.

Just a little something I wrote in a lesson the other day, twas the first thing I did in my new notebook ^_^ It's quite personal to a situation I'm currently in but am working through...

You found the key to this battered love,
But then you slipped it under the smallest crevice and fled,
Leaving me without your shadow, without your cocoon,
So cold and damp,
This place, as tears trickled down,
Leaving tracks of hurt down a memory splattered face.

No consolation, forever seeing us apart,
You...not wanting Me?
The pain just about shred us to pieces,
The paranoia left me without you again.

Pictures of you together and I reek of jealousy.
Green, like the way I feel so sick for you,
I feel anger, seeing red,
But no hate, only regret,
Not for you...For him! He gave you the map to the key unwittingly,
You found it with ease...

Leaving us awkward and confused, I fell apart into a depth of despair filled only with,
Your eyes,
Your voice,
The hair that I love...Oh but those arms, they could put me back together in a second.

You’re brain is all but a wonder to me, so full of composure I could only dream to know,
Filled with the words...as you let me go,
Only half what I wanted to hear, dashing my hopes as quickly as they were raised, but to my heart you came so near...

Hmmm I dunno what to say about this, it's not the best quality since I had to keep stopping and starting to think...I was considering writing more but I didn't want to in the end.
