Don't really know where it came from but I thought it had been too long since I'd written anything and thanks to Kirsty and her loveliness I realised I needed to write something so I did! And also thanks to the song she got me to listen to. (Himerus and E

Possessive,
Aggressive,
Confessions fill my lungs.

Temptations,
Formations,
Elation never comes.

Confused,
Bemused,
Amusing smile I so adore.

Vast,
Blasts,
Lasting heartbeats to our core.

Desires,
Fires,
Conspire my demise.

Falling,
Appalling,
Calling now as reason dies.

 

Author's Note

I wouldn't say there is a gr8 deal of meaning to this poem although the two fonts and colours used do have some meaning that people can ask me about if they wish to know.

Wonderful use of assonance (a word I just learned in my English class, which I am very proud of =])... Anyway, this is great. I also like the "confessions" and "elation never comes" parts. Those are good.
