♥Heart Shaped Bruises..

Just a little something I wrote with help from the lovely Kirsty (Everything Happens For A Reason, she's gr8 go read her work :P) So yeah since Valentines Day was kinda recently I thought I should write something about wanting things we can't always have

♥Heart Shaped Bruises ♥

We talk a little more each day,
Yet I find myself wishing you weren’t so quiet,
I try to resist pestering you, creating some distance,
But in my heart you’ve started a riot,

I wrote to you on Valentine’s Day,
Making sure you’d never guess it was me,
You give yourself so freely, when their hearts you won’t receive
I wish it was just me you’d really just see,
So when casual hearsay informs me of your casual one night stands,
Thinking of you that way,
Trembling flesh under strong hands,
It all makes me so very sad;
It makes me wish it was me you’d had.

It isn’t like I doubt you care,
Your soothing presence is always there,
Even when I’m at rock bottom & still falling,
I want to just let go but I hear you calling,
I know I can always turn to you,
But you’ll never want me like I want you to.

There’s a playlist that follows me everywhere, the songs reminding me only of you,
Spending three hundred hours, sketching a guy with eyes like yours, true blue,
I listen to ‘Wake up’ and other Coheed songs day after day,
‘Cause it reminds me of this liking for you in many a different way,
And I wish I could honestly say
♪I'm gonna ride this plane out of your life again♪,
But with one heart melting look from your soulful baby blues,
You leave me helplessly devoted
With this heart shaped bruise.

So you’ll stay what I’ll never have forever...or so it seems,
Even though there’s no hope in reality, you’ll always be in my dreams,
So forgive me love, for this desire to be yours,
Just blame it on the way you hold me close,
Because you can trust that in my heart there’ll never be repose.

The lyrics are from �Wake Up� by Coheed+Cambria, who I love SO much...
I thought very carefully about my fonts and colours, even the size of the general font mattered in this piece, if you really want to know why and think I'll tell you, just ask. <3
