An Ostenato of The Soul.

An Ostenato of The Soul.

A Poem by Secondhand Tink
"

written for poetry course.

"

Bodies moving in unison,
Utter Perfection,
Like two virtuoso pianists playing a beautiful symphony,
They are a midnight symphony,
An intertwining of limbs, hearts, breaths.

Souls burn like the blaze of a forest fire,
The room aflame,
Burning.
A pairing of magnesium and oxygen,
An iridescent chemical reaction of the heart.

Caresses were silent, like a violin without strings
Eyes were closed, an eclipse of all things,
Fingers danced in adoration,
Leaving marks like a night skies constellations,
An ostenato of shooting bullets to the soul,
Relentless like a perfectionists drive,
An orchestra,
That never ends,
They are a midnight symphony.
