Purple Twilight's of our ever lasting dream...

Purple Twilight's of our ever lasting dream...

A Poem by Secondhand Tink

Purple twilight up above mingling in the skies,

Reflecting it's suttle rays on your hazel green tint eyes,

Evoking passion, like it's counterpart fruit,

As we hold hands taking this love as our merry forever loot,

It's rays even catch upon the darkest hairs of our heads,

Looking at you and thinking how lovely you look with my favourite colour,

Remembering why I no longer ever think 'I would that I were dead.'

Purple passion as our lips lock and we fall upon the sand,

Purple passion as our bodies become entwined,

Purple passion like the lucious fruit,

Purple passion like this love that is our forever loot.

Purple reminding me of my bedroom floor,

My sanctuary,

Where our love has held us together many a time behind my white closed door,

Purple memories of me watching you scamper around my room as I giggle, watching you from my bed,

Purple memories as my cat scatters about as she waits to be fed.

I'll dye my hair a purple dream,

I'll colour my clothes purple to every last seam,

I'll envelope myself in purple nights,

I'll only ever wear purple tights,

Everyone will wonder why I cover my world in purple,

But it keeps me secure like the darkest of nights,

When I often find myself in the worst whirlpools,

It'll keep me safe when I can't find your arms,

It'll cover me up when I need to find charms,

It gives me ME!

For purple is who I am,

And I know you love me for it,

And anyone who doesn't...well I don't give a damn.

i really like this, i remember i wrote a few like it about john and stuff. its so perfect tbh, detailing all your memories and suchlike, whilst focusing round a lovely colour. even though it was written for a competition, i can see that you started getting into it and as you thought you got fuel to delve into yourself and your memories. fantastic write.

You have spoken the well of the Purple nature of yourself and of those close to you! This was wonderfully writen and flowed well. I really liked how you added your cat into it, I could see to lovers playing their game with their bodies, and the cat makes it known it's hungry with a quick swipe to an unsespecting body part! And then as a shoe gets thrown it scamppers out to the food dish, knowing that it will be fed soon!
Great Write of the color of purple and the inner nature of your self! :)
