I like to listen to Hawthorne Heights,

I like to wear black and purple tights, even though I don’t own any,

I like songs where people scream, even though I don’t know too many,

I like to think I'm pretty when I beam,

I like to think I’m not all that mean,

But sometimes my sky turns grey,

And it's becomes hard to struggle through each day,

And I feel like everyone's against me sometimes,

And I feel like no one can hear my cries,

I ponder to myself does anyone know I’m not okay?

Does anyone know I’m tired of living this way?

Waking up wondering if I’ll be happy or sad,

Scanning my mind to see if any of the dreams I had were bad,

Slipping on the green I wear each day,

Wishing the time would pass to when it’ll all go away,

Crawling through as the time goes by,

Telling myself don’t be stupid you’ve got no reason to cry,

Stop being so emotional, stop telling yourself to lie,

When are you gona grow a backbone?

When will you step down from your ‘emo’ throne?

And realise, you’re not actually alone,

So stop singing ‘Cut my wrists and black my eyes’ (Hawthorne Heights ‘Ohio is for lovers’),

Stop singing ‘I can’t make it on my own’ (same as above),

Because you have a home,

In his heart,

You’ll never be alone,

Remember he made your second heart beat start,

And stop taking for granted everything you have got,

He loves you for everything you think you’re not,

He knows you’re pretty when you beam,

He doesn’t think you’re all that mean,

He wants to stop your skies turning grey,

He wants to be your sun on those darkest of days.

A bit random and slightly off beat in a few places but really really a wonderful write... I like randomness and the beat can be fixed if you want it to so all in all a wonderful write!
