"Till Death Do Us Part Is Not Long Enough."A Poem by Secondhand Tink-shrugs-I've found my way out, I escaped my lustful bout, She finally let me go, Back to my love I run, As fast as I can I reach his door, I open it fast and creep across the floor, Silence all around, The smell of death hangs in the air, What happened here? I ask myself, I run into the room, Feeling an impending doom, There he is on the floor, It seems his life may be no more, But how did he know? That it was with her into the night I'd always go, I bend to his side, I find a gun there resides, I see a note pinned to his once moving chest, The place I'd rest my head, Is now devoid of movement, It's now dead, I pick up the note, I feel the great lump in my throat, I read it with tears in my eyes, All it says is 'I love you, but I couldn't take the lies, I knew it was her heart that your's would find, Why didn't you love me, as I much as I loved you, Everylast word I ever said was true, but you had to go, And break my heart, I'm sorry, but now it'll never start. I love you. Till death do us part, would never be long enough.' Tears fall from my eyes, I could never tell him how much I regret the lies, I'll never get to look into the hazel green tint eyes again. I'm dead.
