Waiting

Waiting

A Poem by ines

What if I told you I was waiting for you to speak
day and night
I long so much that I seek
I try to reach but you're speechless
Are you that weak ?
Perhaps you want
Perhaps you don't
you limit the way
and told me to stay
why are you changing ?
why are you cruel ?
what is it with you that makes you a fool ?
A fool to be away
A fool to choose to lay
your body with no motion
going inward with no emotion
tracing life like it's yours
earasing marks on the shores
now you choose to go
and I dare to say no more
I respect thee
I respect me
you no longer belong to me .

Accepting that this person needs space may be the best thing You can do and accept for now
Who knows one day that person may remember you gave them the much needed space you issued and return to you
To love someone truly is to let them go and seek what they need then return however hard it is
Ok I like your writing here well done
