Unfinished Book

Unfinished Book

A Poem by Indrajit
"

Some Books are not meant to be finished

"

The unfinished book
with blue gold cover
keeps calling me back

Not all books are
Read from cover to cover
Not all books are
About knights or lover

Some old books
Just lets you sing
It’s moldy old pages
Strikes a forgotten string

Read this book
From where someone left
To its beginning
Feeling the pages it kept

Some old books
One fails to finish
Yet their charm
Fails to diminish

Unread last few pages
Hum of jazz n blue
Enigma of untold ballad
Promises yet to brew

Some are never
Touted on a rack
Book with blue gold cover
Keeps calling me back
