Whispers of the Weeping Willow TreeA Poem by RickOne day while sitting under a weeping willow tree I heard the wind blow through its branches. With in ten minutes I had written this poem.On a warm summers day, Look upon the hill at the weeping willow tree, While the warm breeze blows and makes your hair sway, Listen and hear the weeping willow tree talk to thee. As the breeze blows through her branches without fear, They bow down their heads, Words start to flow to your ears, That brings a smile to you and rids all the4 dreads. Listen to the soft sounds of the weeping willow, You can hear the words very clearly, Lie down in the grass and place your head upon a pillow, The soft magical sounds will fly to you wonderfully. As you, lie there listening to the sweet sounds, Listen to what the weeping willow is saying, It will relax your mind by leaps and bounds, It is the most beautiful sound of ever hearing. With the help of the weeping willow tree, You can relax and clear your mind, Feel the warmth of the sun and be free, Listen to the words and unwind. No matter what people think of you, They will never see, Some say it is not true, Nevertheless, I believe in the whispers of the weeping willow tree. © 2015 Rick |
