The Best Pair of Shoes

a poem I wrote some time ago.

The best pair of shoes

Can never be broken in

No matter how much wear and tare

They are extremely uncomfortable

But they go with every outfit I wear

I cant manipulate its shape

To that of my foot,

They're stubborn.

But id wear them, no matter the shape they took.

We looked good together

Id wear them in any type of weather

Id run hills, and climb mountains hoping for the fit to get better.

….but the same it remained.

And this is how it will stay.
