One Life

One Life

A Poem by Inda

Hemingway lived three lives;
a journalist,

  a hunter,
a novelist
  and a soldier.
Also
briefly,
      a father.
at times
it seemed
he lived
not three
but, five
lives.
yet, as it came undone,
it was just the one.

Beautifully written, I love the way this is structured. Makes the reader think about how we're each only one tiny part of history, remembered by so few in the grand scheme of things.

Wow, I like how you placed the words in different lines, as it really engaged us!
I also felt heavy emotions as well!
Well done, keep it up
