the park's no help

the park's no help

A Poem by Inda

thought the park would help,
really thought it would.
seeing the birds,
the trees,
the colors in the sky
and the light bouncing off the lake.
but, i saw past it,
saw the highway
running along the green's edge.

The eternal contrast: nature and the human experience. I can see towards which one you'd like to head to and which one you inevitably find yourself heading to. I guess that's the 21st century man, my friend :)

What an interesting piece. Love the grit behind it. Great job!
