Another dull moment.

Another dull moment.

A Poem by Inda

Woke up searching for her,
Wondering where she'd gone.
Did she steal the covers
Or did I go to bed alone?
The empty room was filling
My head with desires,
Again the heart was dreaming,
Lighting skin on fire.
She left me cold,
Nothing but a pillow
By my side, looked around,
heartened myself a bit, I was alone.

hey you... another short, serious, real write... been there done that.. have the tshirt kinda things... although the empty room isn't what fills my head with desires... it is that sneaky heart that was dreaming... this one makes you wonder.. because you ask yourself did you go to bed alone, but then you state "she left me cold"... so only leaves the reader to contemplate did she leave before he went to bed or after?... and the ending I felt could be a little stronger... overall was a nice write.. I like how you are always able to make me think with such few words..

Such a sad piece. It was beautiful and tragic how you described the person in the poem waking up to an empty bed that he had forgotten wasn't filled with the warmth of the one he loved.great write!
