Welcome Refugee

Welcome Refugee

A Poem by Inda

Welcome to the world,
Here you either bend, break or fold.
For the most part it's a struggle,
But there's beauty outside your old bubble.
There are sunsets and drunken nights
And sure, a few bar fights.
There are people searching,
Dreaming, wanting.
There's pain, but at least it's real,
Never again do you need to hide what you feel.

Thanks Ricochet, glad you stopped by.
I like the concept of this one... "outside your old bubble"---brilliant...

also love the last two lines... the pain does let you know that you are alive and it is "real"...

well done.. cleverly titled and written with gritty honestly... that's what I love about your work...
((hugs))
