Lonely by Choice

Lonely by Choice

A Poem by Inda

Sitting in corner,
A writer, a poet, a bit of a loner.
Writing what he writes,
talking about what he loves,
lips that cause pain,
mistakes he'll make again.
He's addicted to words,
his real love is prose.
He's lonely by choice,
trying to find his voice.

You said it! Curse of not just writers and artist but of all of us.
Being alone is a choice, but not so sure about being lonely.. it will creep up and leave you thinking where the heck did you come from.. you can even be WITH someone and feel lonely.. this one as always has such vivid imagery to me.. you draw me into this scene, set the mood, and make me feel what you feel.. Can't ask for anything more than that, now can you?... no sir.. writing can be your lover, your friend, your savior--it can be a lot of things.. sometimes when the inspiration hits, you are consumed with the flowing of the creativity and imagination.. it is as if nothing else exists.. only sometimes, does the loneliness creep in.. alone is fine... its when you pair the two that I don't like... Awesome writing as usual.. you are quickly becoming one of my favorites sir..
