There's a letter you keep.
Folded,
riddled
with crease upon crease.
Commited to paper, those feelings you hid.

I adore this poem. This is by far my favorite of yours. It is simple in its structure but complex in its contents. Hiding our feelings from those who we wish could know is very common. I loved the part where you wrote"crease upon crease" as if the person in the poem repeatedly opened and closed the letter to make sure they wrote everything they needed as if they were going to have the strength and courage to send it. Great job!

I don't know how you do it, but you always find a way to speak to my heart in such a pure, simplistic, moving way... I don't even know where to begin.. VIVID imagery, you have teased my senses brilliantly... With very few words...... I see the little crumpled up letter, I smell the dust on the cd case, and I feel the crackling, crumpled paper in my hands as my heart speeds up in anticipation to know what it says... It has a tender, nostalgic feel to it... I really like this.. REALLY like this one... did I say that I liked it?...ok, just checking... nice job sir...
