That Last Moment

That Last Moment

A Story by Inda
"

A Flash Story! Really possibly the first paragraph of something, we'll see.

"

I felt the weight of the world on my chest, the tears where heavy and warm;

               I kept saying “no” and holding her face in my hands, like a vase. Her lips remained

               partly opened; she shivered out of pain. There was something she wanted to say,

               but couldn’t.  I didn’t want her to speak, I didn’t want the moment to end; I knew once

               it did, we’d be done.
