You Can't Hide

You Can't Hide

A Poem by Inda

You cry for a lover,
You then, lay down with another,
You're always searching,
You're always touching,

Afraid to feel,
pretending you're made of steel.
You pour salt on the wound,
You keep pain in a secret room,

But the door's always open,
You feel that emptiness again.
You feel it,
You try to hide it, but you can't.
