Just a Ride

Just a Ride

A Poem by Inda

The city is awake,

As is my current state,

wide eyed and irrate.

I can hear sirens near the curbside;

I'm reminded it's just a ride,

Wonder whose turn it is to die?

The thought of other people dying always reminds us that we are alive. A necessary evil. Thanks for the read.
