Words

A Poem by Inda

The words shall presist

when I cease to exist

they'll remain on the page,

for words never age.

As my dear friend Dorian Gray said: “Words! Mere words! How terrible they were! How clear, and vivid, and cruel! One could not escape from them. And yet what a subtle magic there was in them!"
A wonderfully simple and powerful poem. Sometimes brevity is the most powerful weapon in a poets arsenal.

Non omnis moriar ! My dear friend, you've written about one of the most ancient locus in literature ! It dates back since the dawn of time, roman poets used to write about it ! Considering the HUGE competition you have to face, then, you did a pretty good job !
