She'll Cry

She'll Cry

A Poem by Inda

Holding back tears
as the storm clears,
eyes wildly search,
Her hopes are firmly perched
on his shoulders;
Like boulders
weighing him down.
In disappointment he'll surely drown.

But, first he must fight and struggle
until the last air bubble
reaches the surface.
Then, sorrow shall adorn her face.
She'll let go of the aforementioned tears
and feel the weight of the years
ahead.
She'll then consider joining him instead.

I liked it, nice job, man ! I can definitely identify your stile here ! The topic, the way of writing, everything here tells you're the one who wrote it ! It's always nice when that happens, it proves you've matured your personal and unique style! Great job !

The rhymes are very straight forward and easy to follow. The last line delivers a punch to the reader. Great job.
