The Silent One

The Silent One

A Poem by Inda

The Silent One

Young and quiet,

   Life’s a riot

And she’s the silent one.

Watched all the damage done,

   Yearned

For a lover,

   Cried on his shoulders;

Learned

  Heartache’s all she could feel.

Pain’s the only thing that’s real.

Yep, more often than not.
This reminds me so much of myself. I really connected to this Inda, and that's the greatest gift a writer can give-and receive. Loved it.
