Shelved

Shelved

A Poem by Inda

Shelved

If I could save you from myself,

Keep you on the proverbial shelf;

Leave you as a memory,

you'll never have to worry

if I just stay away,

then I’ll never stray.

See, all I do is break hearts and promises,

I’m just like all the rest.

I loved the proverbial shelf in this little piece, you think like me my friend... that was a great line...

It has a heavy tone to it in this one... but oh so, deep and felt...
I like the way you write always.
