I Could Have

I Could Have

A Poem by Inda

I Could Have

She shouted my name,

said she was tired of playing the same game.

"Just go, don't want to see you any more,

just go and shut the door!"

Walked out with my hands in my pockets,

still remember- How could I forget?

The next thing she said,

"Stop! I haven't had enough,

maybe said too much."

"Why don't you come back to bed?"

and I guess,

I could have said yes.

I agree with Baby Ricochet. Don't let that moment pass, the regret of not going is even worse than doing so. All you gotta do is tell that to yourself.
