Moments to Live

Moments to Live

A Poem by Inda

Moments To Live

Not enough moments to live,
affection to give,
love ones to hug,
beers to chug.
The hourglass
laughs
as the minutes
add up.
Bolts and rivets
turn to rust.
Waves crash upon the shore,
break away then come back for more.
Distance equals time lost,
youth and innocence are the cost.
