Knees Beg

Knees Beg

A Poem by Inda

-Knees Beg-

Blood shut eyes
Still identify
The lies, the dead butterfly
By the door.
I long for the ocean; you the shore.
Self hate,
Mandate
Passed down,
Colors drown
The light
And hide what's right.
Sunset, orange and gray;
Knees beg and you stay.

A tremendous flow of words, they cascade one by one. A bit like following a person that jumps down a waterfall, at the end a big splash of emotions awaits.
