Dorian's portraitA Poem by IndaThe Portrait of Dorian Gray; one of my favorite novels by the great Oscar Wilde!
-Dorian's portrait-
There's a portrait I keep hidden -There time has not forgiven Or forgotten me. A young, albiet clever man is all I wished to be. But I've grown tired; run out of rythms and beats, I know I shouldn't stare, but maybe just a peek. -Oh what horror! I scream as I lose all color - Death takes hold And I grow old, lifeless and cold instantly. But you know what's so deviously wrong? Because of said portrait I shall be forever young. © 2013 IndaFeatured Review
