Timid Night

Timid Night

A Poem by Inda

Timid Night

The night is timid

 and quiet.

 The house is silent,

The moon in hiding,

No light is shining

down the hall.

She’s gone.

-Burned me to the bone.

Such a fool I took that fall,

like a bird takes flight,

still she let me have the night.

This is very emotional, it's very strong and it has that punch that I love in your writing. That emotional push that you get after watching a sad movie, that push that can lead you to tears, like a reaction which you've described so very well in this short poem. I love it, Inda.
