My skin, it hurts,

I feel the curse

of your goodbye.

So dumb cuz I

let you walk away.

-Perhaps I knew, you’d never stay.

Played the fool again,

you asked me to understand

all the pain you feel.

I guess you figure I’m made of steel.

Beautiful poetry, just because you say all in a rather few words, you're a hero in this Inda.
And it's says all, about the love, not letting fully into it, (maybe to protect your self) or the person you try to bring out in this poem, and then, the realization of her, she couldn't enter... there were iron shields...

This is what happens when vulnerable people assume they are the only ones who feel pain, and the person they relied on to be their rock feels as though they are not allowed to be vulnerable, too. I felt this one in my bones, Inda. Truly good work.
