The poet's silver lining.

The poet's silver lining.

A Poem by Inda

The poet’s silver lining

“What a shame.”

Lost the game,

-she played with his heart,

Now it’s torn apart.

Now he is broken,

For he is not spoken

for.

No one is calling at his door.

-Yet he smiles and laughs alone.

Says, now he’ll get some work done.

this is heartbreaking. i was in this place two years ago. thought i would surely break and never get over it. one thing i can promise you is this....it is excellent fodder for some very profound and emotional poetry and story writing...it is always cathartic and somewhat healing to be able to do this, especially if you write the whole story . the more you reread and edit it, the more you will heal and find answers to your broken spirit. this is a resonant piece for me, as i am sure it is for you....hang tough....this too, shall pass.

Thank you, means a lot as I'm sure you know by now. But yes writing is very helpful. :)

This is really heart wrenching, Inda - You have poured your heart into this and writing will help too, it is cathartic. I hope you feel better soon!

Good, glad to hear it.
It's simply a real truth you bring here... However it's heartfelt, and sad...Every disadvantage has its advantage you know, and you must see the most positive things in "the here and now" ;) great one!
