I Saw

I Saw

A Poem by Inda

I saw

I saw,

My neighbor-

the carpenter,

he bought the old,

worn shoes.

I saw,

I saw it fall.

Yesterday’s rose-

faded

and hurt.

I saw,

saw how the fridge

warms

God’s soul.

-Keeps the milk cold.

I saw,

saw I was caught

in a letter;

trapped

in nostalgia, trying to forget her.

Thanks, means a lot!
Inda, i find it a shame that a poet as gifted as you isn't all over the top writers list...i think you are very talented and largely unappreciated for your excellence. keep writing. your time to shine is coming.
