i am still trying to figure out why some readers thought this was about the movie Troy...perhaps they didn't read the poem at all....i have dealt with cancer in my family, hell, i have it myself....this is a wonderful homage to this brave soul.....it is a tough nut to crack.

at first, without reading the caption, the poem made me think of Jeanne d'Arc, the shaved head, the comparison with the sons of Troy, once fierce warriors. It made me think of a woman, who's going into battle to fight against all odds, and then I Read the caption, and it amazed me how much of that vision is relevant to the actual meaning of it. And that makes a good poem, well done and I wish the very best..
Cancer is a really hard thing to deal with, any disease is but when you are strong and not letting it tear you apart you get through it. When you have supporters who are positive about it, it helps you too. This is a really traumatic write and I hope your friend will be okay.

Goosebumps, for her bravery, strength, and the power, and heart you put this on paper, nothing but respect my friend. Touching write.
I love fiction that's gritty and honest and so my stuff is often times like that. I don't have as much free time as I'd like, but i will get to the request in time and appreciate anyone who takes the .. more..
