Gone

Gone

A Poem by Inda

Gone

Waiting

like a flower

awaits the sun.

You arrived,

I was smiling,

fear cowered.

Forgetting

my pain

and then it came

a light depriving

sunset;

you were gone.

I love how it is so simple yet it really does make an huge impact. I really loved the comparisons in this write, it was simply divine! Well done, it was a lovely, interesting read which I, for one, thoroughly enjoyed it.

I love it when few words can create a book, this is the perfect example.. Well done Inda!

this is insanely beautiful in its simplicity...comparing a person's leaving to an inevitable sunset...and on the other side of the coin, their presence to that of sunlight on a flower which thrives in the light. simply gorgeous, Inda....
