Open Flame

Open Flame

A Poem by Inda

Open Flame

Don’t look at me, I won’t stare at you.

You’re cute,

Through the reflection on the window

I can tell.

It was just a bus ride, but there we almost fell.

Your hands grabbed hold of the support bar

You were next to me, yet so far.

I don’t know your name,

Still we played

a most quiet game.

All looked

On and smiled,

It was wild

And vile;

I felt like a child.

Really like the mood you set of playfulness and quiet flirtation. Simple but vivid :)

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it.
Those moments, silent, and unspoken, but connected are most wonderous...
Inda you always tell these little moments, as one of the best... I so enjoyed this.
