Home Run

Home Run

A Poem by Inda

Home Run

Run, run away,

If you don’t I’ll convince you to stay.

Don’t turn around,

even if my knees touch the ground.

Swung and missed, now you’re up to bat.

Steady as she goes,

follows

through.

She’s gone, what am I going to do?
