If I Could Be

If I Could Be

A Poem by Inda

If I could be

The air that she breathes,

-in her lungs I will live;

allow her to speak,

her strength when she’s weak.

The perfume on her wrist,

the aroma that lingers,

the sensation at the tip of her fingers.

The sparkle in her eyes,

the reason she cries,

the tears that fall,

the reason she crawls

on the floor.

The knock on her door;

I the wave

her the shore.

That which she craves,

The pressure on her hips

 -the taste on her lips.

Love the imagery in this piece and the way as the poem goes on, you slowly become one with the 'her'. Love it Love it.
